The Shichifukujin, or "Seven Gods of Good Fortune," are a group of popular deities in Japan, known for bringing luck, prosperity, health, and protection. Each deity represents a type of good fortune, such as wealth, longevity, wisdom, or success. Ebisu (恵比寿): god of fishermen, commerce and prosperity. Daikokuten (大黒天): god of wealth, harvests and abundance. Bishamonten (毘沙門天): protective god, symbol of victory and good fortune. Benzaiten (弁才天 / 弁財天): goddess of art, music and eloquence. Fukurokuju (福禄寿): god of longevity, wisdom and happiness. Jurōjin (寿老人): god of longevity and good health.
